stretcher bars, threads, and instruction.

Students provide their usual stitching supplies
and bring a stitch reference book of their choice.

Summer, the second of four seasonal canvases featuring Aspen Trees; that are padded, stitched, and chalk painted to add “eyes”.  This intermediate level design on 18 count canvas is 6 inches by 7 inches.  A variety of “small” and unique stitches are used to create the landscape and provide perspective.  Threads include Perle Cotton, Mandarin Floss, Straw Silk, Impressions, Wildflowers, Overdyed Perle and several stranded and overdyed cotton and silks.
